In this 60 minute webinar presented on Zoom, Science Education Coordinator Juno Garrah will lead classes through a full, real life water quality observation on the Mississippi River in Eastern Ontario. This intro webinar helps students get their hands Water Rangers testing tools and see how they are used before heading out to the field. We will also provide broader context for the Water Rangers project and deepen students’ curiosities about their water. After this webinar, your students will know exactly how to use a water quality testing kit to take local observations and help shape the future of freshwater conservation in Canada!
Whether you just received a test kit through our Promoscience grant program, or if you’re thinking about participating in the future, this webinar is a great place to start learning about how to become Water Rangers. By signing up, you can be added to our education program mailing list to hear about future webinars, mail outs, and excursions.
